Job Description :COBOL Developer (Immediate Joiners).Locations : Pune/Bangalore.- Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.- Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.- Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.- Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.- Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.What you will be doing :- We are looking for an experienced HP Tandem COBOL Developer, SQL Mandatory.- Knowledge of HP Tandem utilities, FUP, TACL, Pathway, Batchcom will be additional advantage.- The successful candidate will work on Enhancement and Support projects for the Product.- Support solutions and ensure the quality and utilization of products satisfy client needs.- Recreate, document client issues, and troubleshoot problems to support product quality.What you will need :A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Competencies :- Experience - 5+ years.- Fluent in English.- Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.- Attention to detail - track record of authoring high-quality documentation.- Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.- Self-starter but team mindset work autonomously and as part of a global team.Added bonus if you have :- C ++.
