Senior Consultant – SAP BW/4HANA & SAP Datasphere

Experience: 4–8 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere. The candidate should have hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end data warehousing solutions, data modeling, and data integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and Datasphere solutions
• Work on data modeling, data acquisition, and transformation layers in BW/4HANA and Datasphere
• Build and manage data pipelines and provisioning workflows from multiple SAP and non-SAP sources
• Develop and optimize SQL Views, Analytic Models, and Data Builder artifacts in SAP Datasphere
• Ensure efficient use of Spaces, security, and data governance concepts in Datasphere
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of data models and queries
• Support testing, deployment, and production support activities
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability building

Mandatory Requirements

• 2–3 end-to-end implementation experience in SAP BW/4HANA
• At least 1 end-to-end implementation in SAP Datasphere
• Strong experience with SAP BW extractors (LO, FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in data provisioning from multiple data sources in SAP Datasphere
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Spaces & Space Management
  • SQL Views / Data Builder
  • Analytic Models
  • DAC
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration frameworks

Technical Expertise (Expected)

• Strong understanding of:
  • ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, BEX Queries
  • Transformation routines and Data Transfer Processes (DTPs)
• Experience working with SAP HANA (Modeling, Performance Optimization, SQL)
• Working knowledge of ABAP for debugging, enhancements, and performance tuning
• Experience in data extraction, delta mechanisms, and datasource enhancements
• Familiarity with data replication tools (SLT, SDI, SDA, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party systems
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other reporting tools
• Knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud platforms
• Exposure to advanced analytics, AI/ML, or GenAI use cases (nice to have)
• Understanding of data governance, security, and authorization concepts

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead small to mid-sized modules
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members
