Job summary
Looking for an engineer/ Sr. engineer in a leading pipes anf fittiings manufacuring industry located in Tumkur(Bangal the ideal candidates Responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of extrusion and injection moulding machines. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, conduct RCA for breakdowns, improve OEE, MTBF, and MTTR, manage utilities and critical spares, support machine installation and commissioning, and drive continuous reliability and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure high machine uptime and OEE improvement
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns
• Troubleshoot extrusion and injection moulding machines
• Handle hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and drives issues
• Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR
• Manage utilities (compressors, chillers, power systems)
• Define and control critical spares and inventory
• Lead installation, commissioning, and machine upgrades
• Implement reliability and performance improvement initiatives

Key Skills Required

• Strong hands-on expertise in extrusion & injection moulding maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automation
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA capability
• Experience in TPM / maintenance systems
• Self-driven, individual contributor mindset
• 4+ yrs experience

Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE/ Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
