And that it will be such Fractalities that will continue to build the company for the next 100 years.Responsibilities : - Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures for the NZ Bank.- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to define data quality rules and monitor data quality metrics.- Support the creation and maintenance of a data contract, catalogue, business glossary, and data lineage documentation.- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.- Support the rollout and adoption of data governance tools and technologies.- Gather and consolidate user feedback to identify common issues and areas for improvement.- Document common issues and their resolutions for future reference.- Collaborate with developers (if applicable) on more significant enhancements or bug fixes.- Monitor the performance and stability of the file management tool.Required Skills and Experience : - Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.- 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or information management.- Solid understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Experience with data cataloguing, business glossary development, and data lineage documentation.- Experience with data quality tools and techniques.- Experience with data modelling and database design.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience in React.js (ability to read and understand React components) is a plus.- Experience with Abinitio is a plus.- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.- Experience in integrating data governance tools across divisional and enterprise levels.- Hands-on knowledge of AWS Glue Catalog, Data Quality (DQ), and AWS SageMaker (Good-to-have).
