Job Summary

The Primary Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing the academic and operational functioning of the Primary Section. The role involves curriculum planning, teacher supervision, student development, parent engagement, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning practices aligned with international standards. Candidates with an IGCSE/Cambridge curriculum background are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Plan, implement, and monitor the primary curriculum in alignment with school goals and international standards.
• Support teachers in lesson planning, assessments, differentiation, and classroom management.
• Ensure effective integration of Cambridge/IGCSE teaching methodologies where applicable.
• Monitor academic performance and initiate improvement strategies.

Teacher Management

• Supervise and mentor primary teachers.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize professional development programs and training sessions.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisal of staff.

Student Development

• Monitor students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional progress.
• Promote inclusive education and child-centered learning practices.
• Coordinate interventions and enrichment programs for students

Parent Communication

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic progress and school activities.
• Address parent concerns professionally and collaboratively.
• Conduct orientation sessions, PTMs, and workshops.

Administration & Coordination

• Prepare academic calendars, timetables, and examination schedules.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the primary section.
• Coordinate school events, assemblies, competitions, and educational activities.
• Maintain academic records and compliance documentation.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure implementation of best teaching practices and assessment standards.
• Support continuous school improvement initiatives.
• Assist in accreditation and inspection processes if required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  Minimum 5 to 7 Years Experience
• Experience with Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum preferred.
• Strong understanding of primary pedagogy and international education standards.
