DevOps Engineer - Data & Hadoop Applications

Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and Hadoop applications.- Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, testing, and release processes.- Work extensively with OpenShift and containerized application environments.- Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications across development, testing, and production environments.- Support Hadoop/Data platform deployments and related DevOps automation.- Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes using scripting and DevOps tools.- Collaborate with development, QA, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency.- Implement best practices for source control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, configuration management, and release management.- Monitor application/platform health and troubleshoot deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues.- Participate in production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.- Help define and implement DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices for enterprise data platforms.- Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and high availability across deployment environments.Required Technical Skills : - Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD.- Good experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.- Strong working experience with OpenShift.- Understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem / Big Data platforms.- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.- Experience with scripting/automation such as Shell/Bash, Python, or similar.- Experience with Git or other source-code management tools.- Understanding of build and release management processes.- Experience troubleshooting application deployments and infrastructure issues.
