About the Role
This contract role focuses on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. It is an AI training and video annotation project rather than a traditional video editing or post-production assignment.
Your ability to analyze footage frame by frame, recognize timing and continuity, and identify subtle visual changes is directly relevant. You will identify and label actions, events, interactions, and outcomes with precision to help create reliable training data.
No prior experience in AI, robotics, or data annotation is required.
What You’ll Do
Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks using detailed annotation and grading guidelines.
Identify and label actions, object interactions, transitions, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within video segments.
Analyze footage frame by frame to determine when actions begin, change, and end.
Apply timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency judgment when reviewing video.
Use dedicated video annotation tools to mark events precisely and consistently.
Flag unclear footage, visual inconsistencies, and ambiguous moments and document observations in concise written notes.
Review annotations and provide constructive feedback as part of quality control.
Complete assigned batches accurately and within established deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
Professional or academic background in video editing, post-production, filmmaking, audiovisual production, or a related field.
Experience closely reviewing footage for timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar tools.
Strong visual judgment and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive frame-level review.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to document visual observations clearly and objectively.
Experience with video annotation, visual QA, AI training projects, or robotics is helpful but not required.
