Trainee Software Engineer

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Software Engineers who are passionate about software development and eager to build a career in technology. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced developers, learn industry best practices, and contribute to real-world projects while receiving structured mentoring and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in software development projects under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Learn and work with technologies such as .NET, Angular, React, Node.js, Java, SQL, Azure, or other relevant technologies.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot software applications.
- Assist in developing web applications, APIs, and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Document technical specifications and development activities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
- Adhere to coding standards, security practices, and company policies.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or C++).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of APIs and web technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Git or any version control system.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or final-year students awaiting results may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic project experience.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of REST APIs.
- Basic exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing personal projects.
