Caterpillar - Heavy Equipment General/Hydraulics Technician

Our client a very large commercial agricultural farm in Angola ( West Africa) involved in commercial agriculture is looking for experienced General/Hydraulics Technicians with specific experience working on Caterpillar equipment. As a General/Hydraulics Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar equipment, including hydraulic systems and components. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and expertise in working with Caterpillar machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
• Detect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components
• Perform hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs
• Test and calibrate equipment for optimal performance
• Conduct thorough inspections of machinery
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General/Hydraulics Technician, preferably working on Caterpillar equipment
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
