Job Title Data Entry Accountant 2-3yrs Job Summary A Data Entry Accountant in the apparel manufacturing industry is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining financial records related to garment production, sourcing, and vendor operations in accounting systems. The role ensures accuracy in data entry, supports bookkeeping tasks, and assists in preparing financial reports specific to the apparel business. Key Responsibilities Enter financial data (invoices, receipts, payments) related to fabric, trims, accessories, and production into accounting software Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounting databases Verify accuracy of financial data and correct errors Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and job work payments Reconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepancies Maintain proper records of production, purchase, and vendor billing data Coordinate with production, merchandising, and accounts teams for data accuracy Required Skills Strong typing and data entry skills Basic knowledge of accounting principles Attention to detail and accuracy Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or Microsoft Excel Preferable experience in Zoho Books or any ERP/accounting software Good organizational and time management skills Basic computer knowledge Knowledge of apparel manufacturing accounting entries (fabric, trims, job work) will be preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s d
