Role: HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Research & Development (R&D) Role Summary: Act as a strategic HR partner to the R&D function, driving talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement while aligning HR initiatives with business and innovation goals. Key Responsibilities: Partner with R&D leadership to understand business priorities, project pipelines, and talent requirements . Drive end-to-end talent acquisition for R&D roles (scientists, formulation, analytical, regulatory, clinical, etc.). Support workforce planning and capability building aligned with innovation and product development goals. Implement performance management frameworks , goal setting (KRA/KPI), and appraisal processes for R&D teams. Design and execute learning & development initiatives to enhance technical and behavioral competencies. Facilitate employee engagement, retention strategies, and culture-building initiatives within R&D teams. Advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions . Drive succession planning and leadership development for critical R&D roles. Ensure HR compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (especially relevant in pharma R&D environments). Analyze HR metrics (attrition, hiring TAT, engagement scores) and provide data-driven insights to leadership. Support change management initiatives related to new technologies, processes, or organizational restructuring in R&D. Collaborate with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation & Benefits) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
