What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Travel Consultant to join our growing team in Bangalore, with experience in corporate travel agencies or travel management companies, and strong proficiency in GDS platforms, particularly Sabre.

As Travel Consultant, you will provide exceptional travel services to corporate clients, manage their itineraries, and ensure their travel needs are met efficiently and effectively.

As this role supports clients across international markets, it operates on a dedicated night-shift schedule. This provides a consistent working pattern while allowing you to work closely with global clients and handle a wide range of international travel requirements.

What You'll Do

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.
• Understand client preferences, policies, and requirements to provide personalized service.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issue resolution.

Travel Planning & Booking

• Use the Tumodo platform and other tools to research, plan, and book domestic and international travel (flights, accommodations, car rentals, trains, etc.).
• Suggest alternate routes, lowest fares, booking classes, exchange rates, and travel services.
• Handle complex multi-leg itineraries and prepare detailed trip plans using preferred vendors.
• Ensure compliance with clients travel policies and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.

Travel Coordination & Support

• Manage all aspects of travel coordination, including ticket issuance, itinerary changes, cancellations, and rebooking.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other providers to resolve travel disruptions promptly.
• Provide support to clients during emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and new technologies.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve performance.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a corporate travel consultant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in GDS systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo (Sabre is preferred)
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in travel planning and documentation
• Comfortable working a consistent night-shift schedule from our Bangalore office

Nice-to-have

• Strong knowledge of major Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) and their booking platforms
• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
