About the Role

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant – NetSuite who will be primarily responsible for customer interaction, requirement gathering, solution coordination, and driving execution through the internal implementation team .

The role requires someone who can understand customer business requirements, translate them into clear actionable tasks, coordinate with functional, technical, and integration teams, track progress, review deliverables, and ensure successful closure with the customer.

The candidate should have a good understanding of NetSuite ERP and business processes , strong communication skills, and the ability to independently manage customer discussions and drive tasks to completion.

Celigo integration knowledge will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer-Facing Requirement Gathering

·  Act as a primary customer-facing consultant for assigned implementation activities.

·  Conduct requirement-gathering and discovery discussions with customers.

·  Understand current business processes, pain points, and desired future-state processes.

·  Ask relevant questions to clarify requirements, business rules, dependencies, and exceptions.

·  Document requirements clearly and obtain customer confirmation.

·  Identify gaps between customer requirements and standard NetSuite functionality.

·  Participate in solution discussions and recommend practical approaches.

2. Requirement to Execution

·  Convert customer requirements into clear and actionable tasks.

·  Explain business requirements to internal functional, technical, and integration teams.

·  Coordinate with the team to ensure requirements are properly understood and executed.

·  Define expected outcomes and acceptance criteria.

·  Track assigned tasks, dependencies, and timelines.

·  Proactively follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.

·  Review completed work before presenting it to the customer.

·  Own requirements from initial discussion through customer acceptance and closure .

3. Team Coordination & Delivery

·  Coordinate with NetSuite Functional Consultants, Developers, Integration Consultants, and Project Managers.

·  Ensure team members have the required information, documentation, and priorities.

·  Monitor progress against agreed timelines.

·  Identify blockers and dependencies early.

·  Escalate risks and delays appropriately.

·  Ensure action items from customer meetings are converted into internal tasks and followed through to completion.

4. NetSuite Functional Consulting

·  Understand NetSuite standard functionality and core ERP processes.

·  Support customers in areas such as:

o   Order to Cash (O2C)

o   Procure to Pay (P2P)

o   Record to Report (R2R)

o   Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable

o   Inventory Management

o   Purchasing

o   Sales and Billing

o   Financial Reporting

o   Supply chain Management

o   Manufacturing/WIP

·  Understand NetSuite configuration concepts including workflows, saved searches, reports, forms, roles, permissions, and custom fields.

·  Work with senior consultants when advanced solution design or customization is required.

5. Celigo & Integration Coordination

·  Understand integration requirements between NetSuite and third-party applications.

·  Coordinate with integration consultants/developers for integration requirements and execution.

·  Review integration requirements, data flows, field mappings, and business logic.

·  Support integration testing and troubleshooting.

·  Hands-on or working knowledge of Celigo is highly desirable.

·  Exposure to integrations involving eCommerce, marketplaces, CRM, payment platforms, logistics, or other business applications will be an advantage.

6. UAT & Customer Validation

·  Prepare and coordinate UAT scenarios based on customer requirements.

·  Coordinate testing between customers and internal teams.

·  Track UAT issues and ensure timely resolution.

·  Validate fixes before presenting them to customers.

·  Obtain customer feedback, approvals, and sign-offs.

·  Ensure completed requirements meet the agreed acceptance criteria.

7. Customer Communication

·  Conduct regular customer meetings and requirement discussions.

·  Provide clear updates on task status, open items, dependencies, and timelines.

·  Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes.

·  Follow up with customers for pending information, decisions, and approvals.

·  Manage expectations professionally and proactively.

·  Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.

8. Documentation & Project Tracking

Maintain and update:

·  Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

·  Functional Requirement Documents

·  Requirement trackers

·  Action-item trackers

·  Task and issue trackers

·  UAT documentation

·  Process flows

·  Integration requirements

·  Change requests

·  Meeting minutes

·  Customer approvals and signoffs

9. Issue & Change Management

·  Understand and analyze customer-reported issues.

·  Identify whether an issue relates to configuration, process, data, customization, or integration.

·  Coordinate with the appropriate team for resolution.

·  Track issues through closure and keep customers informed.

·  Identify requests that are outside the agreed scope.

·  Coordinate with the project manager/senior consultant for change-request assessment and estimation.

Required Skills & Experience

· 1–4 years of relevant experience in NetSuite implementation, ERP consulting, ERP support, or a similar role.

·  Good understanding of NetSuite and core ERP business processes.

·  Experience in customer-facing requirement gathering.

·  Strong communication and presentation skills.

·  Ability to convert business requirements into clear tasks and deliverables.

·  Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

·  Ability to work with functional, technical, and integration teams.

·  Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·  Strong documentation skills.

·  Ability to manage multiple customer requirements simultaneously.

·  Willingness to work in US/UK time zones
