Network Engineer

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 7–10 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks (NOC/operations experience preferred). - Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and technologies (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, STP/RSTP). - Hands-on SD-WAN experience (VeloCloud and/or Versa). - Exposure to FortiGate firewalls, Zscaler proxy, and F5 load balancers. - Experience with Cisco Meraki and end-to-end administration of Cisco wireless solutions. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced operations environment. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. - Vendor and stakeholder coordination skills, including working with ISPs. - Experience opening and managing Cisco TAC cases and working with support engineers through resolution. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to escalate clearly and drive issues to closure. - Experience working with ISPs to troubleshoot ILL/Internet/MPLS connectivity issues.
