co_LAB Design Studio is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design practice specialising in high-end residential interiors and architecture .
Our design approach is rooted in simplicity, functionality, clean lines and timeless, refined aesthetics . We work closely with clients, consultants, and execution teams to take projects from concept to completion.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our growing design team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in residential design, good design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into well-resolved drawings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing concepts, layouts, mood boards and design presentations
- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction drawings
- Develop furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations and detailed drawings
- Coordinate with senior architects, designers, consultants and vendors
- Assist with material selections, specifications and BOQs
- Coordinate design requirements with the site/execution team
- Attend site visits and assist with resolving design and technical issues
- Prepare presentations and client-facing design material
- Ensure drawings and design documentation are accurate and up to date
- Assist in maintaining project timelines and coordinating deliverables
- Strong understanding of architecture and interior design fundamentals
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Proficiency in SketchUp / 3D software is preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator is an advantage
- Good understanding of materials, furniture, finishes and detailing
- Strong visualisation and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

- Able to understand and execute design directions
- Detail-oriented with a refined design sensibility
Portfolio is mandatory.
