MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON, ONCOLOGY

AbbVie seeks an Oncology Medical Science Liaison based in Mumbai to serve as a scientific expert engaging with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and researchers. The role involves communicating clinical evidence, facilitating medical collaborations, and supporting oncology initiatives in compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as oncology subject matter expert and point of contact for healthcare professionals in assigned geographic territory
- Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and account strategies with thought leaders and external experts
- Facilitate clinical research initiatives, medical projects, and investigator-initiated studies oversight
- Deliver scientific presentations and educational content to physicians and internal teams on oncology topics
- Support clinical development studies, gather medical intelligence, and document interactions in CRM systems
Requirements
- MBBS or MD degree (preferred); undergraduate degree with relevant oncology experience acceptable
- MDS, BDS, or Pharm.D with minimum 4 years oncology MSL experience considered
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical environment and medical affairs functions
- Scientific expertise in oncology therapeutics and disease states
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and develop scientific engagement plans
- Proficiency with CRM systems and medical documentation platforms
