Location: Remote India

Client Location: Bangalore, India

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP HCM / SAP Payroll Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll (On-Premises) and extensive US Payroll knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of configuring SAP Payroll and delivering end-to-end payroll implementations, from requirements and design through go-live and post-production support.

This is a hands-on functional/technical role requiring strong knowledge of SAP Payroll configuration, US payroll processes, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP Payroll implementation activities from requirements through go-live and hypercare.
• Perform hands-on configuration of SAP HCM Payroll On-Premise.
• Exposure to complex US Payroll and SAP HCM processes
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, payroll calculation rules, deductions, and payments.
• Configure and support retroactive and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Support US payroll taxation, statutory requirements, deductions, benefits-related payroll processing, garnishments, and compliance.
• Work with HR/Core HR teams to support employee and master-data replication into SAP Payroll.
• Support integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central/Core HR and SAP On-Premise Payroll.
• Develop and execute payroll testing, including unit testing, integration testing, parallel payroll runs, and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot payroll calculation and integration issues and provide production support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical teams, and other project members throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support cutover, go-live, stabilization, and post-production activities.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM / SAP Payroll On-Premise.
• Extensive experience with US Payroll.
• Proven hands-on experience configuring SAP Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Schemas and PCRs.
• Experience configuring Wage Types and payroll calculation rules.
• Strong understanding of US payroll taxes, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated end-to-end SAP Payroll implementation experience.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle: Requirements Design Configuration Integration Testing Data Migration Cutover Go-Live Hypercare/Support.
• Strong experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, parallel payroll runs, and production support.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central/Core HR with SAP On-Premise Payroll.
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors-to-SAP employee/master-data replication.
• Experience working on large-scale SAP HCM/Payroll transformation or implementation projects.
