Role Overview:
- You'll turn ads from competitors and brands that inspire us into effective Meta creatives for our products. This is a hands-on production role suited to a mid-level creative producer with strong script writing, video editing, static design, and product filming skills.
- Your work will start with an existing reference: a competitor ad, a successful format from another industry, or a relevant trend. You'll adapt its hook, structure, pacing, and visual approach to our products and audience, using our own footage, messaging, and brand assets.
- We'll provide AI prompts to help you quickly turn reference ads into scripts. You'll refine those scripts, shoot professional product B-roll, use AI tools to create supporting assets, edit video ads, design static ads, and write the accompanying ad copy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Find and organize relevant reference ads from competitors, inspiring brands, and trends within and beyond our niche.
- Use our supplied AI prompts to adapt reference ads into high-converting meta ad video scripts and static design briefs for our products.
- Shoot professional product B-roll that closely recreates the shots, framing, lighting, and movements in reference ads.
- Edit footage into compelling Meta video ads with strong hooks, clear storytelling, effective pacing, captions, and sound.
- Recreate static ad formats using our products and messaging, and visual variations.
- Write the accompanying ad copy: Primary text, headlines, and CTAs.
- Manage the weekly production pipeline, source references, project files, revisions, and final delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 year of hands-on experience producing video and static ads for DTC/e-commerce brands, ideally for Meta.
- Strong ability to study existing ads and translate its structure and visual approach into an effective execution for another product.
- Real understanding of customer psychology, hooks, angles, retention, pacing and direct-response creative.
- Strong proficiency in either Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve, including preparing exports for different Meta placements.
- Proven ability to independently shoot professional-quality product B-roll. You understand lighting, composition, focus, camera movement, styling, and shot variety, and have access to suitable filming equipment and a space to shoot.
- Can write primary text, headlines and CTAs to accompany the creative when uploading as Meta Ads.
- Strong static ad design skills, including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and product presentation.
Experience with ad research tools like Foreplay, TrendTrack or Atria.
Confidence using large language models and supplied prompts to adapt scripts quickly, with the judgment to improve the output before production.
A solid understanding of direct-response creative, including hooks, benefits, pacing, and calls to action.
Strong written English.
An organized production workflow that allows you to batch work, reuse assets effectively, and deliver consistently.
A portfolio showing video ads you edited, static ads you designed, and product B-roll you personally filmed.

- Experience with at AI video, voice and animation tools (HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Higgsfield ideal)

- Basic understanding of creative performance in Meta Ads Manager and translate findings into specific creative decisions.

Weekly Output Targets:

- 6 video concepts, each delivered in 3 total hook versions.

- 6 static concepts, each delivered in 3 total copy or visual versions.

- Accompanying primary text, headlines, and CTAs for all creatives.

- New product B-roll as required by the selected concepts

What Success Looks Like:

- Consistently deliver the agreed weekly volume of video and static ads.

- Translate reference ads into creatives that feel natural to our products, audience, and brand.

- Produce professional B-roll that strengthens our ads and expands our reusable footage library.

- Require fewer avoidable revisions as you learn our preferences

- Own the full creative loop: research, planning, and production independently, with reliable communication and minimal day-to-day direction.
