Procurement Executive

Job Title: Procurement Executive Job Summary: We are looking for a Procurement Executive (Supervisor category) who will be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement activities efficiently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement operations, especially from mandi (agri market), seed companies, or packaging-related roles .

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiation.
  

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and mandi agents.
  

• Procure raw materials, seeds, or packaging materials as per business requirements.
  

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages.
  

• Compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines to ensure cost-effective purchasing. 
  

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations team for smooth material flow.
  

• Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and records.
  

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
  

• Supervise procurement-related tasks and support junior staff if required.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Min. 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain 
  

• Experience in mandi procurement / agri procurement / seed companies / packaging handling
  

• Candidates who have handled packaging materials are also suitable 
  

• Good negotiation and vendor management skills 
  

• Knowledge of local mandi systems and supplier networks preferred 
  

• Basic understanding of inventory management 
  

• Strong communication and coordination skills 
  

• Ability to handle responsibilities at a supervisor level
