We're looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong ownership, sound judgement and excellent communication skills.

Location : Remote, India based.

Why we'd love to work with you

This is a senior hands-on technical role.

You'll take ownership of key areas of our cloud platform, solve complex technical problems and remain actively involved in day-to-day engineering. You'll also provide technical guidance and mentoring to another engineer, helping them develop their skills and capability.

You'll work closely with colleagues across India, the UK and Europe, so you'll need to communicate confidently in English, explain complex technical issues clearly and contribute actively to discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you will do

• Own key DevOps and platform initiatives from design through to production

• Remain highly hands-on with our infrastructure and day-to-day technical delivery

• Build and operate scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

• Manage Kubernetes, containerised and serverless production workloads

• Drive automation through infrastructure as code

• Improve reliability, security, observability, scalability and cost efficiency

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and take ownership through to resolution

• Make and clearly communicate technical recommendations

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to colleagues

• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, automation and delivery

• Continuously explore new technologies and identify where they can improve our platform and ways of working

What makes you a strong fit

• 10+ years' progressive experience in DevOps, cloud, platform or infrastructure engineering

• Demonstrable experience operating at Senior or Lead level while remaining highly hands-on , with a strong drive to continuously learn, adopt emerging technologies and stay ahead of industry developments

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, CI/CD and infrastructure as code

• Significant experience building, operating and troubleshooting business-critical production systems

• Strong technical judgement and the ability to independently solve complex problems with limited supervision

• Experience mentoring and developing less experienced engineers while remaining hands-on in day-to-day technical delivery

• Professional fluency in spoken and written English – English is the working language across our international teams and meetings. You MUST be able to communicate in English naturally and independently in all business situations without relying on AI support, translation software, or any similar tools.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to different audiences

• Experience working effectively with geographically distributed teams

• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code

You'll stand out if you have

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences or another regulated industry

• AWS certifications and incident-management experience

• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry

• Experience across AWS and Azure

• Experience with AI-powered operational tooling, agents, MCP integrations or RAG solutions
