Role Description The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at the front desk. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and coordinating patient flow within the clinic. The role also involves handling basic clerical tasks such as maintaining records, managing patient forms, and supporting administrative procedures in line with hospital policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Drikveda Eye Hospital in Bengaluru, requiring consistent punctuality, reliability, and a strong focus on patient service.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong receptionist duties and clerical skills to manage front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and patient records efficiently.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical staff in a clear, courteous, and empathetic manner.
• Candidates should possess professional phone etiquette skills to handle incoming and outgoing calls, inquiries, and follow-ups with accuracy and discretion.
• Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including experience with office software and, ideally, hospital or clinic management systems.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Relevant experience in a medical or hospital front desk role is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional training in administration or healthcare support is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, integrity, and a patient-centered approach aligned with Drikveda Eye Hospitals values of ethics, empathy, and excellence.
