About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
2. Process and reconcile bank transactions, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
3. Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
6. Support GST, TDS, EPF, and other statutory compliance activities, including documentation and filing requirements.
7. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
8. Prepare financial reports and provide data analysis to support budgeting and business decision-making.
9. Coordinate with auditors, company secretaries, consultants, and other stakeholders during audits and compliance reviews.
10. Ensure adherence to accounting policies, financial controls, and company procedures.
11. Perform additional finance and accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.

1. Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field.

2. Experience working in a CA Firm is an added advantage.

3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statements.

4. Proficiency in Zoho Books, with the ability to manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

6. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

7. Good written and verbal communication skills.

8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

9. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
