ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Specialist to support our migration from SuccessFactors to Workday. The successful candidate will take primary ownership of designing, building, and stabilizing Workday payroll and vendor integrations most critically the Workday → ADP payroll integration. This individual will serve as the single point of technical ownership for payroll integrations and work closely with HR functional and IT teams across US and Ireland regions.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited to a self-directed professional who is comfortable owning complex integrations independently and collaborating directly with business stakeholders during a time-sensitive systems migration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and deliver the Workday → ADP payroll integration end-to-end, from design through stabilization
• Translate existing SuccessFactors integration requirements into Workday field mappings and integration designs
• Build, configure, and test Workday integrations, including Studio and API-based integrations where required
• Partner with HR functional teams across US and Ireland to validate data, business logic, and payroll outputs
• Support parallel payroll runs to ensure accuracy and compliance ahead of go-live cutover
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and stabilize integrations throughout the migration lifecycle
• Document integration logic, data flows, and design decisions to reduce long-term vendor dependency
• Provide input and delivery support for secondary integrations (e.g., benefits administrator connections)
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for integration-related issues during the engagement

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Candidates must have 5–8+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience, including:

• Demonstrated, end-to-end experience delivering Workday → ADP payroll integrations
• Experience translating legacy HR system integrations (e.g., SuccessFactors) into Workday
• Strong proficiency with Workday Studio and API/custom integrations
• Deep understanding of HR and payroll data models
• Ability to work directly and independently with functional HR stakeholders — not solely IT
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing integration documentation
• Proven ability to own and deliver complex integrations with minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience supporting full-cycle HR system migrations (SuccessFactors to Workday preferred)
• Experience in global or multi-entity payroll environments (US and international)
• Familiarity with benefits administrator integrations within Workday
• Workday integration certifications or formal Workday training
• Availability to overlap with US time zones

SUCCESS CRITERIA

Performance for this engagement will be measured against the following outcomes:

• ADP payroll integration delivered, tested, and stabilized ahead of the October payroll target
• Parallel payroll runs completed successfully with validated outputs
• Materially reduced reliance on rotating external vendors for integration support
• Comprehensive integration documentation and knowledge transfer completed before engagement close
