Events Executive

Job Summary

The Events Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events and group functions at the property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless event delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments, supporting event planning, operations, and post-event follow-up while maintaining Marriott standards of service excellence.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of experience in event management, banquet operations, sales, guest relations, or a related hospitality field.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate event requirements from inquiry to execution.
• Prepare event orders and communicate requirements to relevant departments.
• Conduct site inspections and support event sales activities.

Event Operations

• Ensure smooth setup and execution of events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams.
• Address operational issues and client requests promptly.

Guest & Client Relations

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction before, during, and after events.

Administration & Compliance

• Maintain event records, reports, and billing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and post-event follow-ups.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with all departments to achieve event objectives.
• Participate in departmental meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
