Mission
The APAC Treasury Manager leads Treasury activities across the APAC region (Australia China India Indonesia Japan South Korea Taiwan) ensuring alignment with Group Treasury strategy and policies. The role oversees debt management capital structure intercompany financing trade finance liquidity and financial risk management. It also contributes at Group level by supporting global Treasury frameworks particularly in Trade Finance Guarantees and cash management standardization. The position includes building and leading the India Treasury Hub team and ensuring consistent reporting to Group Treasury.
Responsibilities
1. Group Trade Finance & Guarantees (Transversal Role)
- Support governance and standardization of Trade Finance and Guarantees processes
- Ensure policy compliance visibility and consistency across regions
- Monitor exposures limits collateral and compliance
- Drive automation via TMS and banking platforms
- Consolidate KPIs and management dashboards
- Act as APAC referent for Trade Finance & Guarantees
2. Regional Treasury Management
- Lead Treasury operations across APAC entities
- Ensure compliance with Group guidelines
- Manage banking relationships across multiple countries
- Coordinate financing and liquidity needs
- Partner with local Finance Directors
3. Debt & Capital Structure
- Manage and optimize regional debt facilities
- Evaluate and recommend financing solutions
- Negotiate with banks and monitor covenantsSupport credit rating processes
4. Intercompany Financing
- Administer intercompany loans and cash management
- Ensure compliance with tax and transfer pricing rules
5. Dividends & Equity
- Manage dividend flows and upstreaming of cash
6. Liquidity Cash & Risk
- Oversee liquidity and cash forecasting
- Ensure compliance with investment policies
- Support FX and interest rate risk management
- Navigate local regulatory constraints
7. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Deliver accurate Treasury reporting
- Ensure transparency to Group Treasury and auditors
- Act as key Treasury contact for APAC
8. People Management
- Build and lead the India Treasury Hub team
- Ensure strong internal controls and governance
- Promote best practices and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Masters degree in Finance Economics Accounting or related field
- 812 years experience in Treasury / Corporate Finance
- Strong expertise in debt trade finance and liquidity management
- Knowledge of APAC banking and regulatory environments
- Team management experience preferred
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills
- Fluent English; additional APAC language(s) a plus
- Strategic and operational mindset
- Strong stakeholder and banking relationship management
