What will you be doing?

• Own the roadmap for one or more search capabilities across the end-to-end search stack, including query understanding, retrieval, ranking, filtering, and personalization.
• Define product requirements for search infrastructure and user-facing search experiences.
• Partner with AI/ML and Engineering teams to improve search relevance, semantic understanding, and recommendation quality.
• Analyze search behavior, identify friction points, and prioritize improvements using data and customer insights.
• Work on multimodal search experiences including text, image, and conversational AI.
• Collaborate with platform and feature teams to expose search capabilities across multiple consumer surfaces and partner integrations.
• Define success metrics and monitor search quality, engagement, and operational health.
• Drive experimentation through offline relevance evaluation and online A/B testing.
• Balance customer experience, business objectives, and platform scalability when prioritizing investments.

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of Product Management experience, preferably in consumer technology or AI products.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven product decisions.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical products.
• Understanding of modern search concepts such as semantic search, vector retrieval, ranking, recommendation systems, or personalization.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and scalable product architecture.
• Experience using product analytics and experimentation to improve customer outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical problems into clear product requirements.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience building Search, Discovery, Recommendation, AI, or Marketplace products.
• Familiarity with information retrieval concepts such as query understanding, embeddings, retrieval, ranking, and relevance optimization.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or agentic workflows.
• Experience working with SQL and experimentation platforms.
• Understanding of e-commerce or consumer shopping journeys.
