Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded hardware platforms for our IoT, automation, and electromechanical products used in aquaculture and food processing industries. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development, including circuit design, PCB design, power electronics, system integration, validation, and productization. Experience in complete product lifecycle ownership (concept to production) is mandatory. This role requires close collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, production-grade products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Circuit Design & Development Design and develop analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuits Create detailed schematics using tools like Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, etc. Select components based on performance, cost, reliability, and availability Design subsystems including MCU, power supply, sensor interfaces, and communication modules 2. PCB Design Design multi-layer PCB layouts (26 layers or higher as required) Define PCB stack-up and routing strategies (high-speed, differential pairs, impedance control) Ensure EMI/EMC-compliant layout practices and proper grounding techniques 3. Prototyping & Testing Build and validate hardware prototypes Perform board bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting Use lab equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, and spectrum analyzer Conduct functional testing, stress testing, and failure analysis 4. Hardware-Firmware Integration Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware-software integration Support driver development, peripheral validation, and debugging Ensure seamless interaction between hardware and embedded firmware 5.
