Ruby on Rails Developer - GraphQL

Job Description :We are seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails (ROR) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining various web applications, ensuring optimal performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.- Design and implement efficient and reusable code.- Collaborate with product managers and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Write and maintain comprehensive tests using Rspec and VCR.- Integrate and manage APIs using GraphQL and Grape.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and optimizations.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.- Strong experience with GraphQL and Grape for API development.- Proficiency in Rspec and VCR for testing.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Immediate availability to join.Main Technical Skills :- GraphQL : For efficient API integration.- Grape : API framework for building RESTful APIs.- Rspec : Testing framework for Ruby.- VCR : Library for recording interactions in Ruby on Rails applications.Location : Mohali, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, and Chennai (ref:hirist.tech)
