About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle DBA with Oracle BRM expertise to support mission-critical telecom billing and revenue management platforms for a leading telecommunications project.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), performance tuning, high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, and large-scale telecom billing systems.

This is a full-time remote offshore opportunity with occasional short-term travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Administration

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments (11g/12c/19c+)
• Manage Production, UAT, and Development databases
• Implement and maintain RMAN backup and recovery strategies
• Configure and support Oracle Data Guard, RAC, Flashback, and DR solutions
• Monitor database health, storage utilization, and performance
• Perform capacity planning and database optimization

Oracle BRM Administration

• Provide end-to-end support for Oracle BRM environments
• Manage BRM schemas, partitioning, and indexing strategies
• Support billing cycles, invoicing, and revenue processing activities
• Troubleshoot rated event processing, billing tables, and batch jobs
• Support BRM upgrades, patching, and deployment activities

Performance & High Availability

• Conduct AWR/ASH analysis and SQL performance tuning
• Optimize execution plans and database performance
• Support Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments
• Participate in DR drills and business continuity initiatives

Automation & Monitoring

• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using OEM, Splunk, or equivalent tools
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and proactive monitoring
