DescriptionAhaan Software Consulting is seeking a high-performing, hands-on Senior Web Developer & Team Lead to join our team in Kolkata.
We're looking for someone who can code, lead, communicate, hire, and grow—a true all-in-one force in web development .
We'd love to meet you if you're confident with full-stack web development , have excellent English communication skills , and can independently lead and scale a dev team .
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute end-to-end web development projects .
- Manage and mentor the development team; assess performance monthly.
- Work directly with clients on calls, proposals, and delivery plans.
- Hire and release developers as per business and project needs.
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code and maintain best practices.
- Maintain control over task pipelines, sprint plans, and timelines.
- Open to flexible shifts and working on alternate Saturdays (as required).
- Deep understanding of modern web tech, stacks, and architecture .
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written English is a must .
- A sharp, professional online presence (LinkedIn or GitHub) .
- Experience leading dev teams and handling client interactions.
- Highly motivated with a go-getter leadership mindset .
Educational Background (Preferred, not mandatory):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Or a related technical field
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development.
- Deep proficiency in:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue, Next.js
- Backend: Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Express.js
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab
- DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, basic server management
- Solid understanding of:
- MVC architecture
- RESTful APIs
- Security best practices
- Cross-browser and responsive development
Other Essential Attributes:
- Strong online presence (LinkedIn, GitHub, or portfolio)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata for an on-site full-time role
- Open to shifts and alternate Saturdays
- Highly self-driven with a go-getter attitude
- Work on diverse international web development projects.
