Job description : We are seeking a motivated Senior Scientist - Plant Microbiology with a background inentomology to support our ongoing R&D projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to
laboratory research conducted under GLP guidelines, assist in product development studies,
and ensure the highest scientific quality in all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
 Conduct core research studies in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices
(GLP).
 Perform analytical and bioanalytical studies and support related scientific
investigations.
 Maintain integrity and compliance across designated work areas and research
protocols.
 Train and supervise Junior Scientists and lab technicians in experimental
techniques and equipment usage.
 Thoroughly understand study protocols, objectives, and product development
goals to ensure scientific rigour in execution.
 Maintain accurate records of experiments and analyses; conduct literature reviews and
stay updated on current methodologies.
 Assist scientists with:
o Day-to-day lab operations
o Maintenance of insect & Nematodes cultures
o Bio-efficacy/ Bioassay studies of the prototype products

o Laboratory upkeep and monitoring
o Study data entry and management
o Writing of study reports and SOPs
 Support dissemination of research through publication and presentation of findings
at scientific forums.
 Contribute to new projects through background research and preliminary studies.
 Maintain professional competence through self-learning, collaborations, and
attending training as advised.
 Perform additional research-related duties to support the overall success of the
project.
 Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of R&D.
Qualification: Ph.D. in Agriculture (Plant Microbiology) with 3-5 years of strong R&D
experience.
Location: Multiplex Bio-Tech R&D Lab, Peenya, Bengaluru
Experience:
 3-5 years of relevant experience in:
o R&D or entomology laboratories
o Field product evaluations
o Data analysis and report preparation
