About the job

We are looking for a 'Content & Digital Marketing Executive' with a strong foundation in content writing, editorial storytelling, and digital content execution. The core of this role is content. You will develop thoughtful, well-researched, and engaging content for a growing design and lifestyle publication, covering architecture, interiors, furniture, art, and lifestyle. You will be involved in developing articles, features, interviews, project stories, designer and brand profiles, trend-led stories, and magazine content.

If you are a strong writer, curious researcher, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in design, interiors, architecture, furniture, lifestyle, and storytelling, this role offers the opportunity to work across both editorial publishing and premium digital brand communication.

Key responsibilities

A. Editorial & magazine content:

1. Research and write articles, features, project stories, interviews, designer profiles, architect profiles, brand profiles, and trend-led stories.
2. Develop strong story angles, headlines, introductions, subheads, and editorial structures.
3. Research architects, designers, studios, brands, projects, materials, and design trends with accuracy and depth.
4. Contribute to magazine and digital editorial content from research and ideation through writing and final editing.
5. Proofread and fact-check content, ensuring accuracy of names, credits, materials, locations, specifications and project details.
6. Coordinate with designers, architects, brands and contributors to collect information, quotes, images and supporting material.
7. Work closely with the creative/design team to ensure written content and visual storytelling work together.

B. Digital & social media content:

1. Plan and create regular content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant digital platforms.
2. Write captions, carousel copy, reel scripts, story content, and short-form digital copy.
3. Develop content ideas based on current design, interiors, architecture, furniture, lifestyle, and social media trends.
4. Repurpose editorial and brand content into multiple digital formats.
5. Maintain weekly and monthly content calendars and publishing schedules.
6. Coordinate with the creative team to take content from concept to final creative.
7. Schedule and publish approved content across relevant platforms.
8. Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, quality, and visual storytelling.

C. Content operations & reporting:

1. Maintain an organised content pipeline and follow up on pending content, creatives, and approvals.
2. Manage multiple content pieces and deadlines simultaneously.
3. Track basic content performance, including reach, engagement, and audience response.
4. Identify high-performing content formats and topics and suggest improvements.
5. Maintain basic monthly content reports and use insights to improve future content.

Other requirements

1. This role is suitable for freshers as well as candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in content writing, editorial, journalism, publishing, digital media, content marketing, or social media.

2. Excellent written English with strong grammar, structure, and editing skills.

3. Strong research and storytelling ability.

4. Genuine interest in design, interiors, architecture, furniture, art, lifestyle, or publishing.

5. Understanding of editorial and magazine-style writing.

6. Ability to write both long-form and short-form content.

7. Good understanding of Instagram and digital content formats.

8. Strong attention to detail and fact-checking ability.

9. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

10. Basic knowledge of Canva and content scheduling tools is an advantage.

11. Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome; candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience can also apply.

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 3 months

Salary during probation: ₹10,000 - 15,000 /month (only for freshers)

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,50,000 /year
