Java Developer - Spring Boot

You will help build core microservices that enable engineering leaders worldwide to make faster, smarter, more confident decisions.What Youll Do : - Build and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and performance.- Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices, get quick feedback, and grow rapidly.- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps to ship features from idea ? implementation ? production in days, not months.- Write clean, well-tested code (JUnit, CI/CD pipelines) and own it all the way to production.- Continuously learnexplore new frameworks, tools, and cloud-native approaches to make development faster and smarter.- Take ownership : deliver on time, test thoroughly, and ask for help when needed after giving your best effort.What Were Looking For : - 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience building REST APIs with Java and Spring Boot- Strong SQL skills (Postgres preferred)- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS is a plus)- Comfort writing test cases with JUnit to achieve high coverage.- Bonus : exposure to data engineering or analytics tech stacks.- A proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a fast-learning mindset.Brownie Points : - Experience in fast-paced startups or SaaS product development- Hands-on experience with AWS, DevOps tools, or scripting languages- Curiosity about AI and how its transforming software developmentWhat Youll Get : - A front-row seat at an AI-first startup shaping the future of engineering- Freedom to experiment, ship fast, and learn continuously- Exposure to global markets while building from India- A culture that values ownership, speed, and growth (ref:hirist.tech)
