Lead Software Development Engineer - Frontend Technologies

Job Responsibilities : - Lead, mentor & manage front end team members.- Lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end architecture for web applications - Dashboards/CMS development, deployment and monitoring phases.- Evaluate requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured development strategies.- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend & QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals.- Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.- Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of CMS & web.- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate development activities.- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.- Perform code reviews.- Setting KPIs and other metrics to measure team performance.- Team management & motivation.Required Skills : - Prior experience working on consumer-facing products.- 7+ years of experience creating high-performance Dashboards/CMS/web applications using React.- Passionate about frontend development and writing readable and efficient code.- Expert level development skills in HTML5, CSS3 & JS & can rightly judge/implement solutions to complex problems.- Experience writing unit tests using Jest or React Testing Library.- You have hands on experience in cache management.- You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.- Proficient understanding of ES5/ES6, JQuery.- Solid understanding of API Integration.- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.- Good knowledge of server side rendering using template engine.- Experience on debugging UI and web service calls.- Good understanding of SASS, Grunt.- Experience working on website speed optimisation.- Deep understanding of browser internal working.- Good understanding of SEO principles.- Must have used GIT (Source version control).- Good understanding of analytics tools such as google analytics, clevertap, etc.- Solid understanding of release management.- Excellent communication skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivery high-quality results.Desired Skills : - Experience working with Angular.- Familiarity with automated testing tools including Selenium, Jasmine, and Karma.- Experience integrating payment gateways.- Experience working on AWS.
