About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ORMB Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our billing and revenue management processes are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Develop custom components within the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) platform using Oracle technologies. Extend standard ORMB functionalities as per business requirements.
• Configuration & Integration: Configure ORMB modules and integrate them with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, batch jobs, and other interfaces.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and improve the performance of ORMB applications by analyzing logs, optimizing queries, and fine-tuning application settings.
• Testing & QA: Support the testing process by preparing test cases, executing unit and integration tests, and working with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration changes, and deployment guides.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for ORMB applications, investigate production issues, and implement fixes or enhancements as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, solution architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Java.
• Strong understanding of ORMB data models, pricing, rating, billing, and account management processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
• Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to financial services or telecom billing systems is a plus.
