Senior React Native Developer (Mobile-First AI Platform)

What you'll do: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile application using React Native and Expo (EAS). Architect and enhance high-performance Design System using TypeScript and component API best practices, ensuring component reusability, clear styling tokens, and proper documentation (e.g., using Storybook). Develop and maintain the core Network Layer, ensuring efficient data fetching, robust error handling, effective caching strategies (e.g., using React Query or similar libraries), and streamlined data transformation Drive app performance optimization, specifically focusing on reducing re-renders, minimizing Bridge traffic, leveraging JSI for smooth animations, and optimizing bundle/startup time for a consistent 60 FPS experience. Take full ownership of core mobile features from concept to deployment. Contribute to high code quality through rigorous peer review and knowledge sharing. Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years dedicated to in-depth React Native for cross-platform mobile apps. Expert proficiency in React Native core principles, Expo (including EAS), TypeScript, and modern state management (e.g., Jotai, Zustand, Redux). Proven experience in profiling and optimizing complex mobile applications (e.g., using React Profiler, Flipper) and resolving common performance bottlenecks (rendering, memory, bridge). Deep experience architecting and building Design Systems with a focus on modularity, scalability, and performance.
