Job Description:

The role involves managing and optimising digital assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless content workflows across e-commerce and digital channels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Librarian team, overseeing workload distribution, performance, and professional development.
• Own DAM/PIM governance strategy end to end, defining taxonomy standards, naming conventions, and metadata frameworks across accounts and markets.
• Set and continuously evolve proper control and defect-management standards for asset cataloguing, tagging, and publishing, ensuring consistency across the team.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex discrepancies, structural DAM/PIM issues, and cross team conflicts, resolving or routing them appropriately.
• Partner directly with QA, Traffic, CPM, Syndication, and Design leads to align asset governance with the broader production lifecycle.
• Define resourcing needs, participate in hiring, and onboard new Librarian team members, building scalable training programs for the wider team.
• Own reporting on DAM/PIM health, defect trends, and process performance for leadership, translating operational data into actionable insights.
• Lead process improvement initiatives across the Librarian function, evaluating and implementing new tools, automation, and AI-driven workflows.
• Define versioning, archiving, and retrieval standards at the account/portfolio level, ensuring scalability as volume and markets grow.
• Establish escalation criteria and decision-making frameworks the team can apply independently, reducing reliance on case-by-case guidance.
• Represent the Librarian function in cross-functional planning and organizational initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• Advanced/bilingual level of English, with strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing a team, including performance management and coaching.
• Deep expertise in DAM and PIM platforms, including taxonomy design, governance frameworks, and system configuration.
• Strong command of technical specs and asset typology across video, image, and digital formats, able to resolve highly non-standard cases.
• Strategic mindset, able to translate operational patterns into process, tooling, or organizational recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with senior and leadership audiences.
