Job description

Hitachi Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects ensuring their successful completion within scope budget and timeline. This role involves comprehensive project lifecycle management and stakeholder communication.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead the planning execution monitoring and closure of assigned projects.
* Define project scope goals deliverables and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines budgets and risk assessments.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope and within budget.
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.
* Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Report and escalate to management as needed.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
* Communicate project status issues and successes to all stakeholders effectively.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration Engineering Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably in a technology or industrial sector.
* Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g. Jira Asana Microsoft Project).
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* PMP / PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
