We are looking for a charismatic & experienced  Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market. 

Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London! 

The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring seamless service and operational excellence.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members to support their growth and performance.
• Lead by example and embody The Hoxton culture and values, inspiring and motivating the team.
• Prepare and review team schedules based on business needs and operational requirements.
• Conduct engaging daily pre-service and post-service briefings to keep the team informed, motivated, and aligned.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and professionally resolving guest concerns and complaints.
• Ensure the team has a thorough understanding of the food and beverage offerings, promotions, and service standards.
• Maintain consistently high service standards and oversee the overall guest dining experience.
• Work closely with the Sales team to coordinate events, meetings, and group dining experiences.
• Organize and supervise Restaurant set-up according to business forecasts and operational requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in food and beverage inventory management, ensuring accurate stock control.
• Optimize staffing and operational resources to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Drive revenue growth by coaching the team on upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
• Proactively recommend and support the implementation of promotional and commercial initiatives.
• Ensure the restaurant is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
• Ensure all team members maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards.
• Monitor the condition of restaurant equipment, furniture, and operating supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure equipment remains in excellent working condition.
