Job Title: Territory Sales Manager (TSM) - OTX(OTC + Pharma Experience)
Experience : Should have OTC +Rx Experience
The TSMs will be required to do Doctor calls and handle GT business.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to join our team in the
OTC & FMCG sectors. The TSM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing customer
relationships, and driving the growth of our products within the assigned territory. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep
understanding of the OTC and FMCG markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Identify and exploit new sales opportunities to expand market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and
distributors.
Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Conduct regular visits to customers to ensure product availability and satisfaction.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Gather and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management based on market insights.
Promotional Activities:
Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to boost product visibility and sales.
Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the OTC and/or FMCG sectors.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Strong understanding of the OTC and FMCG markets, including key players and trends.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with product launches and promotional campaigns.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the OTC and FMCG sectors.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
