Job Title: Pega Administrator

Location: Hyderabad

Terms: Contract to hire role

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pega Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the Pega Platform across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Pega Infinity 8.x and above, Pega platform administration, environment management, deployments, upgrades, performance monitoring, and production support.

The Pega Administrator will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application Support teams to ensure the stability, availability, performance, and successful deployment of Pega applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Pega Platform environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Perform Pega platform configuration, administration, maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
• Manage Pega application deployments and release activities using Pega Deployment Manager (PDM).
• Support CI/CD-based deployment processes and release automation.
• Configure and manage Pega nodes, agents, queues, listeners, and DSS (Dynamic System Settings).
• Monitor Pega platform health, availability, performance, and system stability.
• Troubleshoot Pega application, platform, deployment, and production issues.
• Perform environment configuration, migration, and deployment activities across different Pega environments.
• Support Pega platform hosting and infrastructure-related activities.
• Work with AWS/Azure Cloud and containerized environments such as OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Support integrations involving Kafka, REST APIs, and enterprise messaging platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Participate in production incident management, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Support Pega platform upgrades, migrations, hotfixes, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure appropriate platform configuration, security, availability, and operational standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth releases.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on Pega experience.
• Strong experience with Pega Infinity 8.x and newer versions.
• Hands-on experience in Pega Platform Administration and environment management.
• Experience managing Pega environments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Strong experience with Pega upgrades, patching, migration, and deployment activities.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Deployment Manager (PDM).
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience configuring and managing Pega nodes, agents, queues, listeners, and DSS settings.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure Cloud environments.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of Kafka and REST API integrations.
• Strong production support, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning experience.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Strong understanding of release management and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pega CSSA or CLSA certification preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Development, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application Support teams.
• Strong communication and incident-management skills.
