We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Lead Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building modern cloud-based data platforms and scalable data solutions. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade data pipelines and data platforms that support analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.You will work closely with Data Architects, Analytics teams, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using Databricks and AWS technologies.Role : Senior Data Engineer / Lead Data EngineerLocation : Bangalore (Hybrid / Onsite)Experience : 6+ YearsEducation : BE/BTech/ME/MTechDesired Candidate Profile :- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Big Data technologies.- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and AWS-based data platforms.- Experience building large-scale enterprise data solutions.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Key Responsibilities :- Demonstrated expertise in building large-scale data platforms using Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark, with a deep understanding of distributed computing principles.- Proven ability to design complex data models and implement efficient storage strategies using Delta Lake to support high-concurrency analytical workloads.- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation, coupled with a solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional project outcomes.Why Join Us?- Opportunity to work on modern Data Lakehouse architecture.- Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms.- Collaborative and innovation-driven work environment.- Opportunity to work on advanced analytics, cloud, and AI-driven initiatives.Certifications :Mandatory :- Databricks Certified Data Engineer AssociatePreferred :- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (ref:hirist.tech)
