We're looking for a content professional who understands that great content isn't simply written—it drives demand, builds authority, ranks organically, influences buying decisions, and positions a company as a category leader.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer / Senior Content Writer with prior experience writing for B2B SaaS companies in ESG, Sustainability, Climate Tech, Carbon Management, Energy Transition, or Environmental Technology.

This is not a generic content writing role.

You'll create technically accurate, thought leadership-oriented content that positions Credibl as a category leader while driving organic growth, inbound demand generation, and brand authority.

You should be comfortable working directly with subject matter experts, translating complex sustainability concepts into compelling narratives, and creating content that ranks highly competitive ESG search terms.

Key Responsibilities

ESG & Sustainability Content

* Own the complete content lifecycle from ideation to publishing and optimization.

* Create technically accurate content across sustainability topics including:

• ESG/Sustainability reporting
• Climate Risk
• Carbon Accounting
• Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions
• Supply Chain Sustainability
• Sustainable Procurement
• ESG Assurance
• Sustainability Regulations

* Translate complex regulatory and technical concepts into engaging content for business audiences.

* Work closely with product, leadership, sustainability consultants, and subject matter experts to create authoritative content.

SEO & Demand Generation

• Develop SEO-first content strategies that improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Perform keyword research and identify high-intent opportunities across sustainability topics.
• Build topic clusters and content hubs around strategic themes.
• Create content designed to rank for competitive ESG/sustainability keywords.
• Continuously optimize existing content based on rankings and search performance.
• Understand search intent and create content that supports every stage of the buyer journey.
• Contribute to demand generation through blogs, landing pages, pillar pages, case studies, comparison pages, customer stories, website copy, emailers and gated assets.

• Publish and manage content using WordPress.
• Maintain on-page SEO best practices.
• Update and optimize website content as products evolve.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to improve engagement and user experience.

Social Media Content

Develop engaging B2B content for LinkedIn and other professional channels, including:

• Executive LinkedIn Posts
• Company Page Content
• Carousel Posts
• Product Launch Campaigns
• Event Campaigns
• Customer Announcements
• Educational Content
• Thought Leadership Snippets

Visual Content Creation

Create supporting assets using Canva, including:

• Blog Graphics
• Social Media Creatives

Basic video editing experience is preferred for:

AI-Powered Content Workflows

Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve research, ideation, and productivity.

AI should accelerate workflows while maintaining originality, accuracy, and content quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–8 years of content marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Prior experience writing for ESG, Sustainability, Climate Tech, Carbon Management, CleanTech, Energy, or Environmental Technology companies is mandatory .
• Strong understanding of global sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations.
• Exceptional long-form and short-form writing skills.
• Experience creating SEO-focused content that has achieved measurable organic rankings.
• Ability to write content that balances technical depth with business readability.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and senior leadership.
• Familiarity with content analytics and performance measurement.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Canva to create blog banners, social media creatives, LinkedIn carousels, infographics, presentation visuals, and other marketing assets.
• Basic video editing skills using Canva or similar tools to create short-form videos, product snippets, webinar highlights, and social media content.
