Founding AI Engineer
About Us:
VDocs is building an AI-powered healthcare platform transforming how clinics and hospitals manage patient records, medical reports, and clinical intelligence.
Our platform combines EMR, AI-assisted clinical workflows, intelligent lab report analysis, and healthcare automation into a single ecosystem. We are looking for a highly driven Founding AI Engineer who wants to build products that can impact millions of patients across India.
This is not a conventional engineering role. You will work directly with the Founder, own major technical decisions, and play a key role in shaping the future engineering team.
What You'll Build:
- Design and scale production-grade backend systems.
- Build AI-powered healthcare workflows.
- Develop REST APIs and backend services.
- Integrate LLMs and AI models into production applications.
- Improve platform architecture, performance, and security.
- Collaborate on the product roadmap and technical strategy.
- Contribute to engineering standards and future hiring.

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has built real-world software beyond coursework.
- Takes ownership and enjoys solving complex engineering problems.
- Has strong backend and system design fundamentals.
- Can independently architect, build, and ship features.
- Learns quickly and enjoys working in an early-stage startup.
