Lead UI Engineer

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Lead UI Engineer with 12–15 years of software development experience to design and develop scalable frontend applications, provide technical leadership, and mentor development teams in Bangalore. The role involves architecting complex user interfaces, building data visualizations, and driving best practices across the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend applications using Angular and React
- Define frontend architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices
- Build rich data visualizations and interactive dashboards using eCharts
- Mentor frontend developers and conduct code reviews for adherence to standards
- Integrate frontend applications with backend systems and optimize for performance and usability
Requirements
- 12–15 years overall software development experience with significant frontend focus
- Strong hands-on expertise in Angular, React, and TypeScript
- Advanced proficiency in eCharts or similar data visualization frameworks
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI, and modern design patterns
- Proficiency integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and frontend performance optimization
