Role Overview

Khors Renewables is looking for energetic and customer-focused Field Sales & Marketing Executives to promote residential rooftop solar solutions directly to homeowners.

The role involves visiting residential areas, identifying prospective customers, explaining the benefits of rooftop solar, generating qualified leads, organizing promotional activities, and supporting customers through the initial stages of their solar journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door marketing and sales activities across assigned residential areas.
• Identify homeowners who are potential customers for rooftop solar installations.
• Explain rooftop solar solutions in simple and easy-to-understand language , including electricity bill savings, government subsidies, installation process and other benefits.
• Understand the customer's current electricity consumption and identify their potential solar requirements.
• Generate qualified leads and arrange site visits or consultations with the technical/sales team.
• Follow up with interested customers and support them through the decision-making process.
• Plan, organize and execute promotional events and local marketing activities to create awareness and generate leads.
• Coordinate promotional activities in apartments, gated communities, residential associations and local neighbourhoods .
• Identify opportunities to set up solar awareness camps, kiosks, stalls and community outreach programmes .
• Distribute brochures and other promotional materials in targeted residential areas.
• Build relationships with apartment associations, resident welfare associations and other local community groups to generate business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, leads and follow-ups.
• Achieve agreed daily/weekly lead generation and monthly sales targets .
• Build a positive and professional image of Khors Renewables in every customer interaction.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 12th Standard / Diploma / Graduate .
• 3-4 years of experience in field sales, direct sales, door-to-door sales, with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in marketing and selling residential rooftop solar solutions.
• Good communication skills in Tamil ; basic conversational English preferred.
• Comfortable approaching and interacting with homeowners.
• Confident, presentable and persuasive, without being overly aggressive.
• Willing to travel extensively within assigned areas.
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is a prerequisite.
