VFX Strategy, Team Mentorship & Craft Excellence

Responsibilities: Driving Artistic Excellence

In this leadership role, your impact will be felt across the entire game ecosystem. You will be responsible for:

• Strategic Leadership: Setting the vision for VFX that perfectly balances gameplay clarity, technical feasibility, and visual spectacle.
• Team Empowerment: Mentoring the VFX team, providing actionable feedback, and supporting their professional growth and career development.
• Production Oversight: Managing the end-to-end production and implementation of champion abilities, skins, emotes, and other cosmetic effects.
• Collaborative Partnership: Working alongside Associate Art Directors, Product Leads, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a cohesive creative direction.
• Craft Health: Supporting Art Directors by ensuring the overall productivity and well-being of the VFX craft within the Singapore studio.

What We’re Looking For

We want an artist who understands the “why” behind the “how.” You should possess:

• Professional Expertise: 5+ years of experience in the games industry, with previous experience as a Senior or Lead artist on shipped titles.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of 3D/2D tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, and Photoshop.
• Stylized Design Eye: A deep understanding of timing, shape language, color theory, and mesh engineering. You know how to make effects feel impactful without cluttering the screen.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the MOBA genre and a genuine passion for the League of Legends IP.

Bonus points for candidates with experience in managing vendors, fluency in both English and Mandarin, or a deep understanding of PBR and modern engines like Unreal or Unity.
