The Tacton Solution Architect / Consultant(9-20 yrs) is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Tacton CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, ensuring scalable, efficient, and user-friendly CPQ implementations aligned with enterprise sales processes.
Technical Skills: Strong experience with Tacton CPQ platform (configuration, modeling, scripting). Knowledge of: Product configuration logic (rules, constraints) Pricing models and discount structures Experience with integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs Middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.) Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems: Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics Programming / Technical Knowledge Understanding of: JavaScript, XML, SQL (preferred) Data modeling & system architecture Basic cloud platform knowledge (Azure/AWS is a plus) Functional Skills Strong understanding of: Sales processes & quoting workflows Manufacturing or complex product industries (common for CPQ usage) Ability to convert business requirements into technical designs
Good To Have:
Experience with other CPQ tools (e.g., Rulestream, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ)
Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, or industrial domains
Agile/Scrum project experience
