About the job

As a media planning executive, you will be at the heart of our campaign operations- understanding client goals, planning media placements, coordinating with vendors and execution teams, and ensuring every campaign goes live on time and on brief.
You'll work closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to translate brand objectives into effective outdoor media strategies. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, communicative, and genuinely excited about the world of OOH advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in planning and executing outdoor advertising campaigns (hoardings, transit media, flex, digital OOH, etc.) aligned with client objectives
2. Understand client briefs and translate them into actionable media plans with suitable site recommendations
3. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and creative teams to ensure smooth campaign execution
4. Maintain accurate records of media plans, site availability, rates, and campaign timelines
5. Track active campaigns and provide timely updates and post-campaign reports to clients
6. Build and maintain a strong, updated database of media sites, vendors, and rates
7. Support the sales and account management teams with proposals, presentations, and media recommendations
8. Monitor competitor activity and OOH trends to bring fresh insights to the team
9. Ensure campaigns are executed within scope, on schedule, and to the quality standards Media Buzz OOH upholds

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, advertising, business, or a related field

2. 0–3 years of experience in media planning, OOH advertising, or a related marketing/agency role

3. Basic understanding of outdoor advertising formats, media buying, and campaign lifecycle

4. Strong communication skills- written and verbal- with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and vendors

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with media planning tools is a plus

6. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

7. Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

8. A genuine interest in advertising, media, and how brands communicate in the real world
