Reporting To: Senior Executive Finance & Accounting Job Summary:
The Logistics Executive will be responsible for managing and optimizing domestic logistics operations across India ensuring efficient inventory management across warehouses and supporting timely availability of products and promotional materials for sampling and marketing activities. The role will also support cost analysis reporting and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and business performance. Key Responsibilities:
A. Domestic Logistics Operations Oversee end-to-end domestic transportation and distribution operations. Coordinate with transporters 3PL partners and internal stakeholders. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) Identify and implement process improvements in logistics operations. B. Warehouse & Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses. Ensure accuracy of stock records and conduct periodic reconciliations. Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses as needed. Work with warehouse teams to minimize stock loss damage and expiry. C. Sample Goods & Promotional Materials Management Plan and manage dispatch of sample goods and materials for sampling events. Coordinate with Brand Communication and Marketing teams for requirements and timelines. Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the delivery / return of materials. Track inventory of sample goods and promotional materials and ensure availability. Optimize logistics support for marketing activations.
D. Cost Analysis & Reporting Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly) for management. Analyse logistics costs (transportation warehousing etc.) Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Support budgeting and forecasting activities Process & Compliance Improve operational workflows and management processes. Support budget monitoring and cost optimization initiatives. Ensure documentation accuracy and audit readiness. Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing Medical Sports) for alignment. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of logistics operations in India Inventory management and warehouse coordination skills. Accurate document preparation (Delivery Note E-way bill etc.) Analytical skills for cost tracking and reporting Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced preferred) Experience with ERP systems. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Process-oriented mindset with ability to build and manage trackers and SOPs. Experience Requirements 5 years experience in domestics logistics or supply chain. Experience in FMCG consumer brands preferred. Experience working with warehouses and 3PL providers
